A Few Notes

Unfortunately, I was unable to print out the students weekly reading log to send home with them.  I will post the information onto their Edmodo account tonight and students will receive their hard copy on Monday.  

On Tuesday, students will have a quiz on the middle colonies (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware).  We have completed a chart for this in our notebooks so that students can study this weekend and Monday.  There is also a lot of information on Edmodo for them.  Our new class code is 87ekwx and this will even allow parents to sign up!

Our spelling words for the week are as follows:

In addition students will have 3 bonus words on their spelling test that follow the /er/ spelling pattern.

I am currently working on updating grades online now that I have access (Hooray!).  So at some point in the near future I will send home graded papers for you to see.

Happy Thanksgiving

Last week in class our students participated in a readers theater about the First Thanksgiving!  We even shared our work with Ms. Rinderle's class and watched as they presented a readers theater on Squanto's Squash.  It was so fun and informative!  We wanted to share all of our hard work with you so below you will find a few pictures that we took during our performance.

Holiday Hearts

Our annual Holiday Hearts program is underway at both campuses!!  The Holiday Hearts program provides gifts for some of  our Teasley families during the holidays.   Please stop by either campus to pick up a heart with a gift item! The hearts are located on the bulletin board across from the cafeteria-MAIN and on the bulletin board next to the cafeteria at PRIMARY.

 

Here's how it works:

 

You select a heart from the bulletin board.

You sign the clipboard indicating the heart you took.

You purchase and wrap the gift. (PLEASE attach the heart to the gift)

You return the gift to the counselors. Main campus-Mrs. Oliver/ Primary Campus-Mrs. Harris

Talent Show!

We are gearing up for the Teasley Talent Show! The talent show is a HUGE event every year that showcases the fabulous skills of our very talented students. The deadline to turn in permission slips for auditions has been extended to Friday November 21^st at 2:45. We would love for our students to show off their unique talents by participating.

Permission forms are available outside Mrs. Mills’ door at both campuses and should be returned to her room or mailbox. Information regarding audition dates, guidelines for acts, and all other information can be found on the permission form.
