Social Studies Friday!

Today, we will be learning about different Native American Tribes.  Your task is to go through the webquest below and fill out your graphic organizer.  You will each be assigned a specific tribe to research.  You will be responsible for teaching your classmates about your tribe.

Fall Picture Day

Greetings Parents,

Picture order forms were sent home in preparation for FALL PICTURE DAY on Thursday, September 17.  Please send the form back with payment on Thursday, September 17.  It is a pre-pay program.  All students will have their picture taken, even if they are not buying a package because these pictures are for the yearbook.  Also,  Please make sure your student is in standard school attire.  Thank you and have a great day!!

TREBLE TONES INVITATIONS

“Hello Parents!!!

Tomorrow night is the Treble Tones Chorus Kick-Off.  The chorus kick-off is a very important meeting for all parents of students in chorus.  At the meeting you will learn everything you need to know about chorus for the year.  You will also sign a chorus contract that has to be turned in before our first chorus rehearsal next Thursday, sign up for committees and meet and mingle with other parents and students in chorus.  FUN FUN FUN!!!

The meeting will last about an hour tops (if that; nothing longer).  There will be dinner sold by “No Beef, No Pork Kitchens” food truck if you wish to purchase dinner (see menu below).  You can either bring your child(ren) or leave them at home but I know they would not want to miss hanging with their friends. You can purchase dinner at 5:30 and the meeting begins at 6:30.

Our first chorus rehearsal is next Thursday at Teasley ending at 3:30 PM.

I can’t wait to meet all of my new parents and shake the hands of my old parents.
